Hi! I’m Cat Carmine and I’m a romance writer. I’m also a wine drinker, a cake eater, a dog lover, and a country dweller. Oh, and a wife, daughter, sister, friend, and pet mom!

I’ve been a writer for about as long as I can remember. In fact, I wrote my first story at age 5. It was about a star that hid under a car. My mom called it “very compelling!” and “a slow burn with a twist I didn’t see coming!” Just kidding. She did hang it on the fridge, though.

My love of writing has led me to work in many different jobs — journalist, freelance magazine writer, communications consultant, and finally, political speechwriter. But fiction has always had my heart, and I finally decided to try to pen my own stories. It’s been beyond my wildest dreams that other people enjoy my books, and I still have to pinch myself every time I tell someone I’m a full-time romance author.

I love and write what I like to call sexy, funny, feel-good romance. My books are about sweet and sarcastic heroines and strong, sexy heroes who like a little bark with their bite. I think witty banter is the best kind of foreplay, and I try to infuse all my books with heart, humor, and heat. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them!
